St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Orthodox Parish, is a traditional orthodox parish of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church under the omophor of His Eminence, Metropolitan VALENTINE of Suzdal & Vladimir and is the headquarters for the Diocese of America where the Right Reverend Bishop ANDREW of Pavlovskoye presently resides.
This site was created to help those who are interested in learning more about Orthodox Christianity and visitors to the New Jersey and New York metro area to find our church and service times.
We are located in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, which is just off of U.S. Interstate 80 and not far from New York City. Church services are mostly in Church Slavonic with some English as well. Our parish is predominantly composed primarily of Russian speaking people with a number of American converts as well. His Grace, Bishop ANDREW speaks English, Russian, French, and Italian.
